Rocket Driver CRM Subprocessors
Rocket Driver uses a small number of third-party providers to host, store, back up, and send system email for the Rocket Driver CRM. This page lists the providers that process customer records stored in the Rocket Driver CRM on Rocket Driver’s behalf, and the service each one provides. It is referenced by the Rocket Driver CRM Data Processing Agreement.
This page covers the Rocket Driver CRM only. Rocket Driver uses other providers for its own website, marketing, communications, and business operations; those are described by category in our Privacy Policy and do not process Rocket Driver CRM customer records.
Current subprocessors
| Provider | Service provided | Information processed | Processing location | Data protection terms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hostinger International Limited (Cyprus) | Hosting and infrastructure for the Rocket Driver CRM application, database, and supporting services | All Rocket Driver CRM records, account records, and application logs, as stored and processed by the service | United States — Boston | Hostinger Data Processing Agreement |
| Amazon Web Services, Inc. (United States) | Off-site storage of database backups (Amazon S3) | Backup copies of the Rocket Driver CRM database | United States — US East (N. Virginia), us-east-1 | AWS Data Processing Addendum, incorporated into the AWS Service Terms |
| Amazon Web Services, Inc. (United States) | Sending Rocket Driver CRM system email — user invitations, password resets, and account notifications (Amazon SES) | The invitation and notification messages the Rocket Driver CRM sends, including the recipient’s email address and the contents of the message | United States — US East (N. Virginia), us-east-1 | AWS Data Processing Addendum, incorporated into the AWS Service Terms |
Amazon Web Services appears more than once because it provides distinct services with different data flows: object storage for backups (Amazon S3) and email sending (Amazon SES). Each service is listed on its own row so you can see exactly what that service receives.
Each provider’s data protection terms are published by that provider and may be updated by it; the links above identify the terms referred to in Section 5.5 of the Rocket Driver CRM Data Processing Agreement.
Providers that support Rocket Driver but do not process Rocket Driver CRM customer records
| Provider | Role | Why it is not a subprocessor of customer records |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services, Inc. (Amazon SNS) | Alerting when a backup job fails | Receives operational alert messages only. No customer records. |
| GitHub, Inc. | Source code hosting, continuous integration, and private container image registry | Holds the application’s source code and built images. No customer records. |
| Internet Security Research Group (Let’s Encrypt) | TLS certificates for crm.rocketdriver.com and api-crm.rocketdriver.com | Issues certificates for domain names. No customer records. |
Features that are not enabled
Some Rocket Driver CRM features would involve additional providers if they were used. None of the providers below receives your Rocket Driver CRM records today. Features that Rocket Driver would have to switch on are off by default and are marked “not enabled” below. Some rows are optional connections you can choose to make yourself, using your own account with that provider — those are marked “available” and are explained in the note under the table. If Rocket Driver enables a feature for your organization that involves an additional provider processing your CRM records, that provider will be added to the current subprocessor list above first.
| Provider | Feature it would support | Status |
|---|---|---|
| DataForSEO OU (Estonia) | Online Presence reporting | Not enabled. Off by default and not switched on for any organization |
| Google LLC | Optional Gmail mailbox connection | Connection by Google sign-in (OAuth): not available. Connection using an app password: available to your organization’s owner and rep users if you choose to connect your own mailbox — see the note below this table |
| Microsoft Corporation | Optional Outlook mailbox and calendar connection | Connection by Microsoft sign-in (OAuth), and the Outlook calendar feature: not available. Connection to an Outlook mailbox using an app password: available to your organization’s owner and rep users if you choose to connect your own mailbox — see the note below this table |
Your own mailbox and mail provider are your choice, not our subprocessor. If you connect your own Gmail or Outlook mailbox to the Rocket Driver CRM, or configure the Rocket Driver CRM to send email through your own mail provider, that provider is one you have chosen. It is a customer-selected service, it acts on your instructions, and it is not a Rocket Driver subprocessor — which is why Google and Microsoft do not appear in the list of current subprocessors above. This is a different thing from the system email Rocket Driver itself sends you — invitations and account notifications — which Rocket Driver sends through Amazon SES and which is listed above.
